For the week 4 assignment, I need to interview three (3) managers or directors that work for the same organization. I worked on the questions (available at: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pzJqai7NOI8OHQbjYPxOu7h7FwAGfYAPtY_qVxe9gIc/edit?usp=sharing). I need the people!
Hopefully, this will all work out. I may have to submit an assignment that uses comments/information from articles and other written material (rather than responses to my interview questions). Time will tell.
The final assignment for the course is a signature assignment.

Assignment submitted
I just submitted the paper on information sharing on social media. I like the topic a lot. This may be the reason why I ended up with a 10-page draft (including screenshots) and had to edit, edit, edit to reduce the number of pages. I ended up with 8 pages -- 5-7 pages required for the assignment. I could have removed some of the screenshots, but I thought they added a lot to the paper.
The assignment was due on 12/25 - a holiday.

On to the week 3 assignment...
This week, the assignment is a paper on information sharing on professional social media sites. I spent some time looking for articles in the NCU library. I found a lot of articles! I am now thinking of a strategy for the assignment. I could focus on reputation management (it is related to the work I completed on online reviews - for the first literature review course). I found a paper on how the unemployed use LinkedIn. I am familiar with that area. I am also interested in the posting of misinformation - I found an article on that. I will think about the options.

Assignment submitted
Assignment (presentation) completed and submitted. It was a lot of work. I spent a lot of time "hunting" for information on Amazon.com. I did not request information from the company.

Week 2 assignment in progress
I just spent some time searching for articles and other resources in the NCU library. When I started the search, I was thinking of selecting the Carmax 'sale of unrepaired, open recalls' problem for the presentation (an article on this: http://www.latimes.com/business/autos/la-fi-hy-carmax-recalled-car-sales-20150610-story.html). I finally decided on a pricing problem (not for Carmax). This is better because I have evidence of the use of data mining for the decision. This should be an interesting assignment.

No need to post
Turns out that there is no need to add a second post. My first post is already graded (I got the 2 points). I planned to Reply to (or comment on) a student's post on code of ethics, but was unable to...
